Outasight - Cleaning The Shower Curtain

One of the great advantages of the Outasight over the traditional bathroom shower curtain is that it can be stowed when wet. To ensure the curtain stays in pristine condition we recommend an occasional spray with a bleach-free, mould & mildew spray, such as De-Solv-It Anti Mould & Mildew.

Give the curtain a light spray of this product once or twice a month and leave overnight.

This is usually all that is needed to keep your Outasight curtain mould-free.

We no longer recommend using Dettol Mould & Mildew Spray for use on the curtain as the formulation has changed and it now contains bleach.

Do not treat your curtain with any formulation that contains bleach as it can discolour the curtain.

Mould and mildew sprays can also be used elsewhere in the bathroom. Ceramic wall tiles can be treated with the spray to keep grout clean and free from mould. For a mould-free alternative to tiles take a look at our waterproof wall panel range.
