The Outasight

The Outasight concealed shower curtain system is the most recent addition to the marketplace for overbath shower protection and has several advantages over the more traditional products such as a shower curtain or bath shower screen:

the Outasight is very compact when not in use

it opens to provide a very large showering area

the Outasight shower curtain can be stowed while still wet

As can be seen from the image below left the closed Outasight is very compact and is just a neat box on the wall measuring just 1400mm high x 63mm wide x 50mm deep. The curtain opens to 1400mm along the bath, enabling 80% of the average bath to be used as a showering area. The curtain has been specially formulated to enable it to be stowed when wet. There is no need to remove the barrier for washing - a quick squirt of the recommended cleaning solution once every couple of weeks is all that is needed to keep the curtain mould-free.

The only real downside of the Outasight in comparison with a standard shower curtain is the price - but then you are getting a unique, well engineered, British designed product.

And compared with most large, good quality bath shower screens an Outasight is relatively cheap.
